There are several lakes in the High Point area that hold some of the best catfishing in the state. You can fish any of the lakes of the Yadkin River chain or for a quick day out, you can fish Oak Hollow, the local city lake. Prices range from $45.00 on up according to the service you would like. All guide trips are for one or two people, on an 18- foot center console boat. I practice catch and release with any catfish over 5 lbs- catfish under 5-lbs you have the option to keep.
